Method for navigating a user (1) between a first position (P1) inside a building (2), wherein the first position (P1) is a parked position of a motor vehicle (8) parked in the building (2), and a second position (P2), or vice versa, comprising the following steps: – map information (Kl) describing at least part of the building (2) is produced by the motor vehicle (8) on the basis of vehicle surroundings information which is produced on the motor vehicle side and describes objects (13) in the surroundings around the motor vehicle (8), – parking information (PI) which includes a parked position of the motor vehicle (8) inside the building (2) is made available by the motor vehicle (8), – the map information (Kl) and the parking information (PI) are transmitted by the motor vehicle (8) to a user-side mobile communication device (6), – navigation information (Nl) which includes at least one navigation route between the first position and the second position is produced on the basis of the transmitted map information (Kl) and the transmitted parking information (PI) by the user-side mobile communication device (6), and – the user (1) is navigated from the first position (P1) into the second position (P2) by means of the mobile communication device (6) on the basis of the navigation information (Nl).
