The invention relates to an assembly for installation protection and protection of persons in multi-phase low-voltage supply devices, which assembly can be triggered by an accidental-arc detection unit and has short-circuiters, which establish a short circuit between the bus bars of the supply device, wherein the short-circuiters are each controlled and activated by an electronic unit having a switching element and for this purpose the accidental-arc detection unit is connected to the input of the electronic unit. According to the invention, a parallel connection of short-circuiters is provided in order to increase the short-circuit current strength. For the reliable control of the short-circuiters connected in parallel, an energy storage unit is connected between the phases of the low-voltage supply device, which energy storage unit leads to an controller for providing the control voltage for the switching element so that, even in the case that the short-circuiters connected in parallel respond unequally in respect of time, the switching element can be activated for the slower of the short-circuiters.
