The present invention relates to route guidance method and device for an audience in an exhibition hall by means of visible light communication, the route guidance device calculating and providing a recommended viewing route, from a current location via one or more common points of interest, on the basis of current distribution information of an audience for each point inside an exhibition hall and guidance-related information received from a visible light apparatus provided inside an exhibition hall, such that the audience can view an exhibit more efficiently. Also, the route guidance device provides viewing opportunities for an exhibit or a single performance which the audience could pass by unintentionally.
