The present invention relates to a method for estimating an ionising radiation dose, said method comprising a step of carrying out a measurement of an EPR spectrum of a screen of an electronic device such as a mobile telephone or the like which has been subjected to irradiation, and a step of estimating the ionising radiation dose from the EPR spectrum. According to the invention, the measurement is carried out by means of an EPR spectroscopy device suitable for estimating a radiological dose level by direct measurement on the glass of the screen, the measurement being carried out without dismantling or separating the screen or the apparatus.
