Disclosed is a method performed by a PGW (110) for improving handover in a communication network comprising a 3GPP access network (150) and a non-3GPP access network(180, 190), and wherein,for a UE(120),an IP flow mobility Packet Data Network, PDN,connection is set up towards the communication network. The method comprises obtaining information that for the IP flow mobility PDN connection, there is a first bearer in a first access network, which first bearer has an access parameter with a first value, the first access network being either the non-3GPP access network or the 3GPP access network. The method further comprises triggering setup of a second bearer in a second access network that has an access parameter with the first value, when, for the IP flow mobility PDN connection, there is no bearer that has an access parameter with the first value in the second access network. The second access network may be either the non-3GPP access network or the 3GPP access network, but not the same access network as the first access network.
