The acquiring method comprises: extracting the basic information of each upgrade subpackage from the header portion of the upgrade package (301); and according to the basic information, extracting the content information of each upgrade subpackage from the body portion of the upgrade package (302); the basic information comprises the type of the upgrade subpackages, the content length of the upgrade subpackages, and the initial location of the upgrade subpackage data in the body portion; the content information comprises the upgrade subpackage data. The method and apparatus allow a user to download the plurality of upgrade subpackages at a time when upgrading a plurality of objects at the same time.
