Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a hand-held terminal and screen display control method thereof, the hand-held terminal and screen display control method thereof comprising: acquiring first gravity sensor data from a wearable device having a communication connection to the hand-held terminal; acquiring a holding manner of the hand-held terminal according to the first gravity sensor data and second gravity sensor data from the hand-held terminal; controlling a screen display of the hand-held terminal according to the holding manner. Through the above solution, the present invention can use the wearable device integratedly to identify the holding manner for the hand-held terminal without adding more sensor devices with high accuracy and great applicability.
