The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing environment-friendly synthetic wood and environment-friendly synthetic timer manufactured thereby, the method comprising the steps of: preparing a first mixture by mixing 50-80 wt% of wood flour, 10-40 wt% of a synthetic resin, 5-10 wt% of an environment-friendly adhesive, 1-2 wt% of a UV stabilizer, and 1-2 wt% of a softening agent (step 1); first heat-treating the first mixture (step 2); preparing a second mixture by mixing 5-7 parts by weight of a strength enhancer to 100 parts by weight of the first-heat-treated first mixture (step 3); second heat-treating the second mixture (step 4); preparing a third mixture by mixing 1-2 parts by weight of an aromatic agent and 0.3-7 parts by weight of an antimicrobial agent with 100 parts by weight of the second-heat-treated second mixture (step 5); third heat-treating the third mixture (step 6); and extruding the third-heat-treated third mixture (step 7). The use of the environment-friendly adhesive containing neither heavy metal nor volatile organic compound (VOC) does not pollute the environment, and provides excellent adhesive strength, leading to great a binding strength between the wood flour and the synthetic resin.
