A DEVICE FOR REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD OF TREATMENT

A device for rehabilitation of children in the postoperative period of treatment comprises a restraining vest and a developmental screen, the restraining vest comprising a backrest base and a front, the backrest base having two upper and two lower belts, the front having side cut-outs and integral straps, the backrest base and the front being joined along the side cuts and at the shoulder straps by means of press studs; the developmental screen is made from a mesh material with a wide grid spacing and has belts in the top and bottom parts; vertical and horizontal fixing belts are arranged on the mesh, by means of which leisure time activity items aiding recovery can be placed thereon. The device is provided for children, who, for various reasons, are prescribed to stay in a horizontal position on their backs. The device causes a prophylactic developmental effect and provides for physical rehabilitation after an operation while helping to maintain mental health.
