Disclosed are a mobile terminal and an information processing method therefor in a shutdown state. The method comprises: detecting whether there is incoming call information satisfying a pre-set condition when the current remaining electric quantity is greater than zero and the mobile terminal is in a shutdown state; starting up a driving assembly corresponding thereto using the current remaining electric quantity according to the type of the incoming call information; and the driving assembly processing the incoming call information, so that a user performs a corresponding operation. By means of the present invention, automatic shutdown is conducted with an electric quantity reserved in advance, so that if a mobile terminal detects that there is incoming call information in a shutdown state, the incoming call information can be intelligently processed.
