IMITATION COTTON-KNITTED FABRIC, TERYLENE FILAMENT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR

An imitation cotton-knitted fabric, terylene filament and a production method therefor. The fabric is a weft knitted fabric woven from a woven raw material comprising at least 45% by weight or more of terylene filaments; the pore area distribution of the fabric centres on 6000 to 22000 μm², in a distributed in no less than 2σ, and the coefficient of variation of the pore area is greater than 40%. The terylene filament is composed of the twisting areas (1, 3) in the false twisting direction and the twisting area (2) in the opposite direction alternatively, wherein the average length of the twisting areas (1, 3) in the false twisting direction is no more than 0.3 cm, the coefficient of variation of length is no less than 60%, the diameter is 30% to 70% of the diameter of the twisting area (2) in the opposite direction, and the total length is 20.0% to 40.0% of the total length of the terylene filament. The knitted fabric has extremely strong cotton feeling, and has good air permeability, bursting strength, water-absorbing and quick drying property and ultraviolet resistance ability.
