A clinical decision support system using external resources includes a query generator generating input query information based on source information; a searching unit searching for external information that corresponds to the generated input query information from the external resources; an appraisal unit appraising the external information based on at least one selected from relevancy appraisal and validity appraisal; and an application unit using the appraised external information as evidence information that is used as a reference to the source information.
