VIDEO-OUTLINE-BASED METHOD FOR MONITORING SCALABLE CODING OF VIDEO

Disclosed is a video-outline-based method for monitoring scalable coding of video; a detail-retention-based method for video outline coding is used for outline analysis of the monitored video to be encoded; the main moving object and background image are extracted, mapped, and reconstructed to generate an outline video and obtain moving-object region information and moving-object mapping information; on the basis of the object region information, the ROI region in the video coding is determined, and on the basis of the object mapping information, the strip type in the video coding is determined; then, ROI-based scalable video coding is performed on the original monitored video; at the same time, the moving object flag and the moving region flag are combined into an object flag; a scalable code stream containing the object flag is generated, so as to achieve scalable transmission and scalable browsing of a monitored video code stream.
