Disclosed is a control method of a voice alarm device. The control method of a voice alarm device comprises the steps of: analyzing a signal sensed by at least one sensor provided in a ship to determine whether an event relating to a ship accident occurs; if an event occurs, determining a broadcasting method of a voice alarm; and performing a voice alarm using at least one speaker provided in the ship according to the determined broadcasting method, wherein the broadcasting method of a voice alarm includes at least one of a manual broadcasting mode in which a voice alarm is performed via a microphone provided in the ship on the basis of an inputted voice, an automatic broadcasting mode in which a voice alarm is performed on the basis of data that is already stored in a storage part of the ship, and a remote broadcasting mode in which a voice alarm is performed by a remote terminal device on the basis of an inputted voice.
