The present invention relates to a method and system for generating a 3D synthetic image by combining body information and clothes information and, more particularly, to a method and system for generating a 3D synthetic image by combining body information of a user, data obtained by scanning clothes, and unique information on fabric from which the clothes are manufactured. To this end, a method for generating a 3D synthetic image by combining data obtained by scanning clothes with data obtained by scanning the body of a user according to an aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: adjusting distances between pieces of clothes cloud data by combining body cloud data representing the body of a user, clothes cloud data representing clothes, and unique information on fabric constituting the clothes, and unique information on the clothes; generating 3D synthetic data in which the body of the user and the clothes are synthesized; and generating a 3D synthetic image by generating outlines from the 3D synthetic data and combining colors.
