Disclosed is a cloud platform application-oriented service recommendation method. The method comprises: acquiring service state information about a cloud platform (S100), the service state information including services respectively used by all applications on the cloud platform and running states of the services; acquiring a target service type (S101), the target service type being a service type required by a target application, and the target application being an application running on the cloud platform and requiring service recommendation; and according to the service state information, acquiring a service matching the target service type, and using the service as a service to be recommended (S102). By means of the technical solution, an application developer can promptly acquire the service matching the application to be developed, thereby improving the development efficiency of the application, causing the service in use to better match the characteristics of a usage scenario of the user, and improving the matching degree between the recommended service and the target application.
