The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, or a food composition, for prevention or treatment of metabolic bone diseases, comprising a combined extract of Schisandra chinesis, Eucommiae cortex and Lycium chinense as an effective ingredient. The composition according to the present invention can be effectively used in prevention or treatment of metabolic bone diseases as the composition does not have side effects as a substance derived from natural products, has an osteogenetic effect in ovariectomized rats, and increases the bone content and bone formation index in serum and decreases bone resorption index in an actual animal model.
