The invention relates to a method for analysing potential active ingredients for the treatment of kidney diseases, especially of podocyte-dependent kidney diseases, which comprises the following steps: a) providing isolated glomeruli which, under a promoter or promoter fragment of a podocyte-specific protein, express at least one reporter molecule, b) adding an active ingredient for analysis, and c) determining the expression of reporter molecule; and also to a corresponding test kit.
