METHOD OF FABRICATING A BRUSH-HOLDER REGULATOR FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ALTERNATOR, CORRESPONDING REGULATOR BRUSH-HOLDER AND EQUIPPED ALTERNATOR

The method according to the invention for the fabrication of a brush-holder regulator (13) comprises a first step for forming a brush blank of a trace circuit intended to electrically link an electronic component of the regulator to electrical connection means (9, 10) of the latter, the circuit comprising traces interlinked by mechanically resilient portions (6), and a second step for overmoulding the circuit with a plastic. In accordance with the invention, the second step forms a complete overmoulded housing incorporating the trace circuit and having a through cavity (12), with mechanically resilient portions of the circuit which are comprised in a specific zone of the latter located in the through cavity. A third step is designed to withdraw the mechanically resilient portions in such a way as to form electrical connection lugs for the electronic components.
