The present invention relates to a concentrating solar power (CSP) plant (1), including: at least one solar absorber/receiver (2) suitable for receiving concentrated solar radiation, a thermal device (3) connected to the absorber by a heat-transfer fluid circuit (4), the thermal device being suitable for consuming or transforming at least one portion of the heat absorbed by the absorber and transmitted by the heat-transfer fluid; a first chemical reactor (5) suitable for implementing an endothermic reaction in which the required heat is at least one portion of the heat surplus absorbed by the absorber and not consumed or not transformed by the thermal device; and a vessel (6) for storing the product of the endothermic reaction, connected to the first chemical reactor.
