SAPLING PLANTING APPARATUS AND SAPLING PLANTING VEHICLE

A sapling planting apparatus 2 is provided with: an auger 11 for digging a hole in the ground; a cylindrical hollow guide 12 for placing a sapling in the hole; a blade 13 that levels soil around the sapling placed in the hole, covers the sapling with the soil and compacts the soil; sliders 15, 16, 17 which, as a raising/lowering means, cause these components to be driven up and down in the same vertical axis direction; and motors 18, 19 that cause the auger and the blades to be rotationally driven. The auger, the guide and the blades configure a three-layer nested structure. The auger and the blades are rotating bodies that rotate on the vertical axis. This configuration allows the sapling to be planted in a predetermined manner such that: a desired hole is easily dug; the blade 13 levels soil around the dug hole and a root pot of a sapling without space therebetween; the sapling is covered with the soil; and the soil is compacted while the sapling is held and prevented from tilting by the guide 12.
