The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for detecting peaks of intracranial pressure waveforms using feature points of arterial blood pressure waveforms. The method for detecting peaks of intracranial pressure waveforms using feature points of arterial blood pressure waveforms, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises the steps of: detecting waveform starting points from consecutive intracranial pressure waveforms on the basis of contraction peaks of arterial blood pressure waveforms; distinguishing each intracranial pressure waveform from the consecutive intracranial pressure waveforms on the basis of the waveform starting points; detecting peaks, troughs, and flats by deriving a derived function value from each intracranial pressure waveform; calculating the latency of the peaks detected from the waveform starting point detected from each intracranial pressure waveform, clustering peaks which are similar in terms of time interval, and generating a peak cluster; searching for a dicrotic notch from each intracranial pressure waveform on the basis of latency values of dicrotic notches of the arterial blood pressure waveforms; and detecting peaks P1, P2, and P3 from each intracranial pressure waveform on the basis of the searched dicrotic notch of each intracranial pressure.
