The present invention relates to a composition containing a purified extract of fermented chestnut bur as an active ingredient. More specifically, it is confirmed that the composition has an anti-wrinkle activity, an antibacterial activity, an astrictive activity, and the like by: tests for the anti-wrinkle activity including elastase inhibitory activity, collagenase inhibitory activity, and the like; tests for the antibacterial activity against Candida albicans, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Propionibacterium acnes, and the like; and an astriction test using hemoglobin, thereby being able to be effectively used as a composition for reducing wrinkles and treating and preventing bacterial skin diseases.
