The present invention relates to a method for preparing bio-ethanol using waste newspapers collected from apartment houses. More specifically, the method for preparing bio-ethanol using waste newspapers collected from apartment houses comprises the following steps: injecting waste newspapers collected from apartment houses into a pulverizer; feeding water from a water tank in the apartment houses to the pulverizer to pulverize the waste newspapers; obtaining a waste newspaper pulverized extract, and injecting the same into a saccharification tank; injecting cellulase as saccharogenic amylase into the saccharification tank to perform saccharification; injecting the waste newspaper saccharified liquid into a filtering device to filter and remove solid matters; injecting the filtrate into a sterilization tank to sterilize the same; injecting the sterilized liquid into a fermenter and inoculating the same with an ethanol fermentation strain to ferment the waste newspaper saccharified liquid, and obtaining fermented liquor; and injecting the fermented liquor into a fractionator, and performing fractional distillation to separate and recover ethanol.
