A portable monitoring system for monitoring a fishery according to the present invention comprises: an underwater image camera module (100) which is positioned in a fishery (10); an external mobile module (200) which is positioned outside the fishery (10), and is connected to the underwater image camera module (100) through a cable; and a smart device (300) which communicates wirelessly with the external mobile module (200), and displays an image acquired by the underwater image camera module (100). According to the present invention, the underwater image camera module installed in the fishery and the external mobile module connected to the underwater image camera module through the cable are installed in a mobile type not a fixed type, and the external mobile module wirelessly communicates with the smart device so it is possible to immediately monitor the state of the fishery through the smart device. Also, initial investment costs and maintenance costs are low, and the system can be immediately applied to a currently operating fishery.
