FILE-CACHE BASED TIME-SHIFT PROCESSING METHOD FOR MOBILE TERMINALS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM FOR THE SAME

The present invention relates to a time-shift processing technology generally used for a mobile terminal such as an Android smartphone or an Android tablet PC. The time-shift processing technology is used to enable a user to watch a content broadcasted at an earlier time instead of on a real-time basis. The time-shift processing technology is used in a stationary apparatus such as a set-top box or a digital TV which can have a high-speed I/O storage medium such as a hard disk mounted thereon and is difficult to apply to a mobile terminal having a relatively low-speed I/O storage medium such as a NAND memory mounted thereon. According to the present invention, the time-shift processing technology has increased file input and output speed by using a file cache to operate in the mobile terminal configured by mounting such low-speed I/O storage medium without any problem.
