The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for removing oil mist using a dielectric barrier reactor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for removing oil mist comprises: an oil mist inlet where oil mist is introduced from the outside; an air inlet introducing air for transferring the oil mist introduced inside the apparatus; a mixing part where the introduced air and oil mist are mixed together; a dielectric barrier discharge part executing the combustion of the oil mist, by treating the air containing the oil mist with plasma discharge, collecting the oil mist thereafter, and then applying high frequency onto the oil mist; and an outlet part including an outlet which releases, to the outside, gas produced by combustion of the oil mist.
