Provided are a manufacturing method of a reducing agent to produce silicon or ferrosilicon, and the reducing agent manufactured by the same. According to the present invention, the manufacturing method of a reducing agent to produce silicon or ferrosilicon by being mixed with quartzite (SiO_2), comprises: a first reducing agent preparation step to prepare a first reducing agent containing carbon (C); a second reducing agent preparation step to prepare a second reducing agent containing carbon different from the first reducing agent; a coffee byproduct preparation step to prepare a third reducing agent containing carbon different from both the first and the second reducing agents; and a mixing step to mix the first and the second reducing agents with the coffee byproduct in a certain ratio with respect to fixed carbon.
