The present invention relates to an Improved asphalt production method for modified asphalt waterproof sheet or waterproof coating and composition thereof. the improved asphalt of the present invention reduces cracks formed on a bottom surface of concrete where asphalt waterproof sheets are constructed by maintaining excellent adhesiveness and flexibility even at a low temperature. In addition, the improved asphalt shows stiffness at a high temperature, and thus plastic deformation occurs at a reduced rate. The improved asphalt of the present invention also exhibits tensile strength and expansion rate which are enough to fill the cracks (or holes) formed on the bottom surface of the constructed asphalt waterproof sheet owing to self-healing ability. By developing improved asphalt for self-healing type modified asphalt waterproof sheet or waterproof coating for a behavior of the bottom surface of concrete with excellent adhesiveness, stable waterproof quality can be secured.
