The present invention relates to a desulfurization efficiency improving additive for limestone sludge and, more specifically, to an additive capable of improving desulfurization efficiency in a pretreatment process so that limestone sludge discarded in steelworks can be used for forming a desulfurizing agent used in flue gas desulfurization equipment. According to the present invention, the desulfurizationefficiency improving additive of the present invention comprises Dibenzylideneacetone (DBA), an organic acid additive, or an alkali additive, and the desulfurizing agent is mixed with 60-90 wt% of limestone slurry and 10-40 wt% of limestone sludge so that the moisture content of the desulfurizing agent can be 70%.
