The present invention relates to an engine having a shaft torsional vibration measuring function, which comprises: a cam shaft connected to a crank shaft to transmit power generated when fuel and air is burned in a cylinder; a bevel gear connected to the cam shaft; a housing wherein the bevel gear is installed; and a sensor installed in the housing, and measuring interdental spacing change of the bevel gear rotated along with the cam shaft which is rotated to measure torsional vibration of the crank shaft. According to the present invention, the engine is smoothly supplied with power supply to measure shaft torsional vibration in real time to rapidly respond to a problem when the problem is generated, thereby preventing a nasty accident.
