METAL MAD LACQUERWARE HAVING MOTHER-OF-PEARL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to metal mad lacquerware including mother-of-pearl and to a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of metal mad lacquerware including mother-of-pearl comprises a first step of sanding the surface of a base molded product obtained by rotation, pressurization, and molding of an iron, aluminum and magnesium-based alloy sheet; a second step of applying raw lacquer (unheated lacquer) to the surface of the molded product; a third step of firing the molded product which has been coated with raw lacquer in a kiln of 170-180C for 140-160 minutes; a fourth step of stopping the supply of heat to the kiln, keeping the molded product in the kiln for 55-65 minutes, and putting the molded product into water of 8-14C to cool the molded product; a fifth step of re-sanding the molded product which has completed a cooling process to finish the molded product; a sixth step of attaching mother-of-pearl to the surface of the molded product which has been finished by using glue; a seventh step of removing unnecessary glue after the glue is completely dried; an eighth step of apply raw lacquer to the surface of the molded product with mother-of-pearl; a ninth step of sanding the surface of the molded product with mother-of-pearl which has completed a raw lacquer application process to finish the molded product with mother-of-pearl; a tenth step of performing a middle lacquering process with black lacquer or red lacquer; an eleventh step of sanding the surface of the molded product with mother-of-pearl which has completed the middle lacquering process to finish the molded product with mother-of-pearl; a twelfth step of performing a top lacquering process; and a thirteenth step of sanding the surface of the mother-of-pearl which has completed the top lacquering process. The present invention has an effect of providing metal mad lacquerware which has aesthetic properties like Korean traditional lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl, has excellent durability and corrosion resistance, and is environment-friendly and harmless to the human body.
