Disclosed is a helmet for preserving hairstyle of a motorcycle rider, which comprises a hull made from a hard material and a shock-absorbing material layer disposed on the inner side of the hull, wherein the shock-absorbing material layer has a long groove or a long hole formed in a front-rear direction at a central part from the left side and the right side and a cross-sectional surface, formed by cutting the helmet perpendicularly to a direction of the long groove, has an arch shape such that hairstyle of a user can be preserved in wearing the helmet. According to the present invention, a basic function of a helmet, by which a user can be protected, is not damaged fundamentally and a problem of a protective helmet pressing hair of a user and messing up hairstyle can be relieved or prevented.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
