The present invention relates to a radial multi-stage rotatory carbonizer including a carbonizing furnace and an activating furnace for production of active coal or regeneration of active coal used as an adsorbent in an industrial field. The radial multi-stage rotatory carbonizer comprises an external drum; an insulator formed on the entire periphery of the inner side of the external drum; a carbonizing furnace formed inside the insulator, and including an active coal material inlet; and an activating furnace formed inside the insulator, connected to the carbonizing furnace, and including a heat source supply part, wherein the carbonizing furnace and the activating furnace operate in a radial multi-stage rotatory manner, thereby regenerating activated coal waste for water treatment and producing high class activated coal at the low cost by exceeding limit of an existing carbonizing and activating facility.
