The present invention relates to an apparatus for power generation using tidal difference, which can comprise: a boat which is elevated according to a tidal difference to keep a lowered status from an ebb tide to a high tide, to be elevated after a first time has passed at a high tide, to keep an elevated status from a high tide to an ebb tide, and to be lowered after a second time has passed at an ebb tide; a water tank placed in the boat; a waterway formed on the bottom of the boat to be connected to the water tank and to be selectively opened during the first time and the second time; and a water pressure power generating unit for receiving rotation power respectively by the water pressure of the seawater flowing into the water tank during the first time through the opened waterway and the water pressure of the seawater leaking from the water tank during the second time. According to the present invention, the power generation efficiency using tidal difference can be maximized, and the apparatus of the present invention can be easily installed at a low cost without being greatly influenced by the location.
