Disclosed are a method for recording and reading operation log information in an SDN-based router network and an apparatus for performing the method. The method includes the steps of: detecting a log event generated as an operation is implemented in a network device; and recording the log information corresponding to the log event detected according to a log service component established in the network device. Therefore, by defining various parameters in the log information recorded in an SDN-based routing system structure, the method is capable of providing a function of a controller to more effectively trace a router failure situation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
