The present invention relates to a slow-release pharmaceutical composition containing, as an active ingredient, N-desalkyl quetiapine which is an active metabolome of quetiapine. More specifically, the present relates to a slow-release pharmaceutical composition containing N-desalkyl quetiapine as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, contained as slow-release diluting agents are one or more molecules selected among hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), poly(meth) acrylates (Eudragit L), and poly vinyl acetate-poly vinylpyrrolidone (Kollidon SR). According to the present invention slow-release preparation composed of N-desalkyl quetiapine allows a distinctly retarded elution pattern of a formulation to be found by means of noticeably delayed drug release.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
