The present invention relates to a carbon dioxide sensor including a copper oxide-tin oxide composite nanofiber and a method for manufacturing the same. Particularly, the present invention provides the method for manufacturing the carbon dioxide sensor including the copper oxide-tin oxide composite nanofiber, which includes: a step of manufacturing a mixed solution by mixing a polymer, a tin and a copper precursor to a solvent and the carbon dioxide sensor including the copper oxide-tin oxide composite nanofiber (step 1); a step of forming a nanofiber on a substrate by electrospinning of the mixed solution of the step 1 (step 2); and a step of performing heat treatment of the nanofiber formed on the substrate of the step 2 (step 3). The carbon dioxide sensor manufactured with the electrospun copper oxide-tin oxide composite nanofiber according to the present invention has the effect of being able to sense carbo dioxide of 1 ppm at room temperature by having excellent electronic conductivity at an interface, by that tin oxide and copper oxide have a fixed Fermi level and energy band arrangement by forming a p-n junction.
