The present invention relates to a method for predicting a corrosion rate of a heat transfer pipe using an eddy current testing method. Particularly, the present invention provides the method for predicting the corrosion rate of the heat transfer pipe using a eddy current testing method, including: a step (step 1) of performing an eddy current MRPC probe test at a heat transfer pipe material; a step (step 2) of evaluating a signal of the MRPC probe test performed in the step 1; and a step (step 3) of predicting the corrosion rate of the heat transfer pipe material from a noise value of an MRPC test signal of the heat transfer pipe evaluated in the step 2. By using the method for predicting the corrosion rate of the heat transfer pipe according to the present invention, the present invention has the effect of being able to select a heat transfer pipe material with a less corrosion rate in a material selection step, since the method can make the requirement for a criterion as to the corrosion rate of the heat transfer pipe in a primary system condition, through the eddy current MRPC noise test of the heat transfer pipe material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
