According to one aspect of the present invention, the device for preventing a sudden drop of a hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder receiving a working fluid through a main flow passage to enable a main piston to be vertically moved inside a main cylinder, comprises a safety block protruding to support a lower end part of the main piston when the main piston is suddenly dropped.
