Disclosed are a device to notify an abnormal state of a companion animal and a system to look after a companion animal by including the same, capable of immediately notifying the abnormal state of the companion animal to the owner in a remote place. The device includes: a sound sensor generating a companion animal sound signal by sensing the sound of a companion animal; a determining part determining whether the companion animal is normal or abnormal from the sound signal, generated through the sound sensor; a camera generating an image signal by photographing the companion animal if the companion animal is determined to be abnormal by the determining part; a wireless communication part transmitting the companion animal sound signal and the companion animal image signal to a portable communication device of the owner by using wireless communication, and receiving the sound signal, transmitted to the portable communication device; and a speaker converting the sound signal, received from the wireless communication part, into a sound and outputting the sound.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
