The present invention relates to a social security network system using a social network service, and a method thereof. The system comprises: a user terminal which requests a social security network service in case of a crime or an emergency situation; a plurality of acquaintance terminals which transfers a request of the social security network service to subscribers of other social network services (SNS) based on a location information; a CCTV detector which transmits a photographed crime image to a security institution server, transmitting the photographed crime image to the plurality of acquaintance terminals which subscribes to an SNS to which a user terminal subscribes; a social security network server which controls communication between the CCTV detector and the plurality of acquaintance terminals; and a security network database which matches information on the social security network service with information on the crime image, and stores the matched information.
