The present invention relates to a device for preventing a lonely death using a power line communication network and a public switched telephone network. The device includes: an electronic appliance which is connected to a power line wired inside a house; an operation switch which generates state information in accordance with an operation behavior of a person living alone and transmits the state information through power line communications through the power line; an emergency signal generator which generates an emergency signal when an operation signal is not detected and transmits the emergency signal through a public switched telephone network; and a management server which receives the emergency signal, notifies an emergency situation to a manager or an related organization, and provides relevant information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
