Embodiments of the present invention relate to a time-related metadata recovery of data recorded from a failed scenario. The present invention relates to a real-time multimedia record field and, more specifically, to a data recovery affected by a failure, while a real-time multimedia is recorded. According to embodiments of the present invention, provided are a system and method for recovering time-related metadata of recording from a failure and the relevant multimedia data without using an external identification devices or an additional storage space.
