PROMOTER EXHIBITING ANTHER-SPECIFIC EXPRESSION CHARACTERISTICS IN PLANTS AND USE THEREROF

Provided are a promoter exhibiting anther-specific expression characteristics in plants, a vector comprising the same, a plant transformed by the vector, and a method for transforming traits of plants using the same. The anther-specific expression promoter of the present invention can be applied in the production of transgenic crops which functionally alters anther-producing substance and existing seeds, pollination and fertilization steps in a high efficiency for increase yield of agriculturally and industrially effective crops. In addition, the anther-specific expression promoter is an anther-specific regulatory region and is capable of regulating expression of the anther-specific gene in the whole steps of the pollination and the fertilization. Thus, the promoter of the present invention can be useful in the development of genetically modified plants into which exotic genes are introduced requiring anther-specific expression.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
