The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for collecting wireless signals for indoor positioning, the method capable of collecting the wireless signal for the indoor positioning simply, effectively and more correctly based on a previously given map. According to the present invention, a method for collecting wireless signals for indoor positioning using a mobile robot comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a map of a space to collect the wireless signals; (b) assigning a plurality of reference driving lines, which are reference moving lines of the robot, connected with each other on the map and setting width corresponding to each reference driving line; (c) collecting signal intensity data of the wireless signals through a signal collecting means installed in the robot while driving the robot along a zigzag route fixed by the width and a specific driving interval based on a first reference driving line among the reference driving lines; and (d) collecting the signal intensity data of the wireless signals through the signal collecting means installed in the robot while driving the robot along a zigzag route fixed by the width and a specific driving gap based on a second reference driving line connecting to the first reference driving line.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
