The present invention relates to a DNA marker of Pleurotus eryngii (De Candolle ex Fries) Quel. More specifically, the present invention relates to a sequence characterized amplified region (SCAR) marker for determining varieties of Pleurotus eryngii (De Candolle ex Fries) Quel having a high content of betaglucan. According to the present invention, the application of the SCAR marker which is capable of quickly distinguishing mushroom having the high content of betaglucan enables effective breeding of Pleurotus eryngii (De Candolle ex Fries) Quel.
