The present invention relates to a system to dualize the remote management of an elevator by using Internet of the things and a communication terminal and a control method thereof and, more specifically, relates to a system to dualize the remote management of an elevator by using Internet of the things and a communication terminal and a control method thereof, capable of connecting a thing communication device, additionally connected with sensors on an elevator device through one network besides an existing communication terminal, to a remote management system through Internet of the things. To this end, according to the present invention, the system is formed by connecting a predetermined elevator control panel with a main server of the remote management system through the communication terminal, connecting each device of the elevator, including sensors, with one network through the thing communication device, and connecting the thing communication device with the main server through an elevator internet-of-the things server of the remote management system.
