The present invention relates to a modeling for a vascular bed for blood flow analysis and, more specifically, to a method for determining the fractional blood flow reserve for coronary using a porous physical model for a blood flow characteristic and a system thereof. According to the present invention, a CFD-PMM model to determine blood vessel information includes a porous model which is modeled with a porous medium. The porous model includes a resistive parameter and a compliance parameter, and the parameters are distributed continuously in the longitudinal direction of a blood vessel. Therefore, the characteristic of the blood vessel can be physiologically well expressed. Also, if calculation to resolve a governing equation for a three-dimensional model is performed, modeling using a hydrodynamics equation for the entire blood vessel is available, reducing the calculation time since repetitive calculation for the convergence of a boundary condition is not necessary.
