The present invention relates to a method to provide an emoticon combined with music. A method to provide an emoticon combined with music according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step that a content producer generates an emoticon content file formed by combining emoticon character design data with music file such as wave files or mp3 files; a step of transmitting the emoticon content file generated in the previous step to a messenger server; a step of transmitting a purchased emoticon to an electronic device and storing the emoticon in the electronic device if a user purchases the emoticon stored in the emoticon content file combined with music by using the messenger server; a step of transmitting the number of purchase whenever the emoticon is purchased in the previous step to a server of a corresponding music source company; and a step of simultaneously outputting the emoticon and the music if the user selects and transmits the emoticon purchased in the previous step while the user uses a messenger service by using the electronic device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
